Peter A. Batalis "Pete", age 39, of Monticello and formerly of Hobart, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2020 at his residence. He was born on November 1, 1980 in Hobart, Indiana. He liked riding motorcycles and going to the gun range. Above all, he loved his children.

Pete is survived by his sons, Andrew and Nicholas Batalis; daughters, Alex and Bella Batalis; mother, Hulda Watson; brothers, Jimmy, Caleb and Chevey Batalis; sister, Valerie Killian; best friend, Joe Zaradich.

He was preceded in death by his father, Andrew Batalis; paternal grandparents, Peter A. and Katherine Batalis; maternal grandparents, Donald and Jeannette Killian.
