Phillip Sofranoff

Phillip Sofranoff., age 84, of Hobart, passed away Saturday, February 25, 2017. Phillip was born in Waterloo, Iowa on June 17, 1932 to the late Nicholas and Anastasia Sofranoff. He enjoyed politics and enjoyed visiting with family and friends Phillip will be remembered as a loving uncle and friend.

Phillip is survived by his nephews, Bill (Lorrie) Barancyk, Michael (Nancy) Mills; four nieces, Janice Barancyk, Nancy (Tom) Robbins, Phyllis Gallaway and Stephanie (Curtis) Matthews; Step-sons, Michael and Leonard Aguilar and many other loving family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Jacqueline Sofranoff.
A memorial service for Phillip will take place Sunday, March 5, 2017 at 3:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 W. Old Ridge Rd Hobart, IN 46342 with Bob Burton officiating.
