Rachelle A. Riley

Rachelle A. Riley, age 54 a lifetime Lake Station and Portage resident passed away Sunday, November 15, 2020.  She was born in Gary, Indiana on June 15, 1966 to the late Keith and Joyce Carr.  Rachelle worked for Plina Inc. as a truck driver.  She was a longtime member of the American Legion Post 100 Ladies Auxiliary.  Rachelle loved riding her motorcycle, playing cornhole, darts, fishing, and she especially loved her animals. She is survived by her husband, Jason Riley of Portage, IN; mother-in-law, Marcella Riley of Portage, IN; her furry friends, Chyna, Baylee, and Hunter. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister, Michelle Blanchard. Please note that due to Porter County Covid 19 restrictions the visitation will be limited to 25 people at one time.  Masks will be required and hand sanitizer will be available.  We ask that everyone helps us in keeping everyone safe and practices social distancing. Cremation will take place with Rees Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Portage.  A memorial visitation for Rachelle will be Sunday, November 22, 2020 from 12:00 pm to 6:00pm at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave., Portage.   (219) 762-3013.
