Ralph Edward Estes

Ralph Edward Estes, age 63 of Valparaiso, IN. passed away on October 20, 2019 as a result of a tragic accident. He was born July 4, 1956 in Chicago, Illinois.

Ralph is survived by his best friend and wife of 33 years, Robin Estes; children, Greg Kaletta, Eddie Estes, and Lindsay Estes; mother, Lucille (Ron) Louis; siblings, Rita Estes, Harlan Estes, Brady Estes, Bart (Jennifer) Estes, and Cherie Louis; his dearly loved granddaughters, Emmaly, Abigail, and Ashley and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by son Daniel Kaletta and sister Brenda Estes.

Ralph was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Growing up he was an exceptional athlete, making captain of his high school football team; he was also a skilled carpenter and a world champion dart player. He enjoyed fishing and golfing and spending time with his family. He will always be remembered for his funny sense of humor and kind heart.

Visitation for Ralph will be from 2:00 to 3:00 pm Friday October 25, 2019 at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel 5341 Central Ave. Portage, Indiana 46368.  His Funeral Service will follow immediately at 3:00 pm.
