Ralph A. Messina
Ralph A. Messina, age 82, of Portage, passed away Monday, July 20, 2020. He was born on May 28, 1938 in Gary, Indiana to the late Ralph and Alice Messina. Ralph proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force. He retired from Bethlehem Steel.
Ralph is survived by his sons, Michael (Lisa) Messina of Wildwood, MO, John (Kathy) Messina of Portage; daughter, Suzy (Terry) Ryan of Chicago; 5 grandchildren; brother, James G. Messina; and aunt, Mary Adams.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Alice Messina.
A private graveside service for Ralph will take place at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery 20953 W. Hoff Road, Elwood, Illinois 60421. Arrangements were entrusted to Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave., Portage. For more information, please call (219) 762-3013.
