Ralph Moreno, age 74, of Lake Station, passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on February 20, 1941 in Mercedes, Texas to the late Juan Moreno and Guadalupe Casillas Vega . Ralph will always be remembered as a dedicated brother, uncle and friend.
He is survived by his three brothers, Alfredo (Lucy) Moreno of Austin Texas, Albert (Denise) Ruiz of Lake Station and Octavio Ruiz of Lake Station; two sisters, Teresa (Tony) Perez of Lake Station and Magdalena (Jose) Santos of Chicago, Illinois and many other loving family members and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Juan Moreno and Guadalupe Casillas Ruiz; brother, Xavier Ruiz.
Funeral services for Ralph will take place Monday, June 29, 2015 at 11:00 am at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart. He will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery in Portage. Visitation will be held Sunday, June 28, 2015 from 2:00-8:00 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home. For more information, please call (219) 942-2109.
