Ramona Vasquez, age 84, of Portage passed away Thursday April 23, 2015 at St Mary Medical Center, Hobart. Ramona was born October 06, 1930 in Mexico to the late Leocadio (Antonia) Villarreal. Ramona is survived by her five children: Felipe (Marilyn) Vasquez, Jr., Hebron, Diana (Peter) Kesheimer of Dyer, Ricardo (Denise) Vasquez of Morganton, GA , Roberto Vasquez of Valparaiso and Raymundo (Kelly) Vasquez of Hebron; seven grandchildren; Adam (Nicole), Eric (Angela), Elizabeth, Benjamin and Christopher Vasquez, Marc Kesheimer and Kristi (Mike) Kasperek three Great Grandchildren; Isabella Vasquez and Abby and Aidan Kasperek, one brother Benito (Cecilia) Villarreal, Texas; two sisters Christina Bernal, Alamar (Alfredo) Gutierrez, both of Texas.

Ramona was preceded in death by her husband, Felipe Vasquez, Sr. in 1993.

Ramona was a special loving mother and Grandmother who was active in PTA and other school activities with her children. She loved Gardening especially tending her Roses and Irises. She enjoyed crocheting and quilting. She will be deeply missed by her family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
