Randal N. Ford

Age 66, Portage passed away Thursday, October 2, 2025. He was born on July 23, 1959, in Marion Kentucky to Hazel (nee Myers) Ford and the late Otis Ford. Randy worked as a carpenter for R&W Builders. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather, a diligent worker and a great provider who willingly assisted anyone in need. Among his most cherished and fulfilling activities was spending time with his grandchildren.

Randy is survived by his wife of 41 years, Cindy Ford; three sons, Aaron (Allison Gossett) Ford, Timothy Ford and Brett Ford; two grandchildren, Isla and Sadie Ford; mother, Hazel Ford; brother, Frank (Julie) Ford; sister Cindy Lawrence and many other loving family members and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Otis "Neil" Ford and brother-in-law, Don Lawrence.

A funeral service for Randy will be held Sunday, October 5, 2025, at 4:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave. Portage, Indiana 46368. Cremation to follow. A visitation for Randy will also be held Sunday, October 5, 2025, from 2:00-4:00 pm also at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel.
