Obituary

Randolph Brian Quinn Milos, age 59, a longtime resident of Ogden Dunes, passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2011. Randy was born on November 3, 1951 in Newport News, Virginia, the son of Dr. Robert Joseph and Margaret Josephine Milos. Randy was a 1969 graduate of Portage High School, and then received a Bachelor's Degree in 1973 from Saint Joseph's College in Rensselaer. He then received a Master's of Arts Degree in Accounting from Ball State University in 1975. Randy was a Certified Public Accountant and worked for the Internal Revenue Service in Milwaukee as a field auditor for over 25 years. Randy was a fervent fan and supporter of Ball State University's Cardinal football program, and a generous supporter of the BSU Disabled Students and Alumni Association. He also supported the Saint Joseph's College Puma football program. He was an avid chess player, loved reading and watching movies, and working on his genealogy and family tree history.

Randy is survived by his loving family; mother Margaret Milos, Ogden Dunes, sister Margaret (Paul) Nye, Arroyo Grande, California, brother Robert Milos, Ogden Dunes, nieces Maggie and Mary Nye, nephew Robert Nye, and other loving family and dear friends. Randy was preceded in death by his father Dr. Robert Milos and his brother Garry Milos.

A visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm on Friday, June 17, 2011 directly at Saint Patrick's Catholic Church, 638 North Calumet Road, Chesterton, with a Mass of Christian Burial being celebrated at 12:00 pm, with Father George Plaster and Rev. James W. Meade officiating. Entombment will be at Graceland Cemetery in Valparaiso. Memorials in Randy's memory may be made to either the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Peter or to Saint Mark the Evangelist Catholic Parish.
