Randall J. "Randy" Boyt, age 61, of Portage, passed away Sunday, November 13, 2016 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 18, 1954 in Freedom, Pennsylvania to John and Betty Boyt. Randy was currently employed as an Electrician in the blast furnace for Arcelor Mittal Steel. He adored his family and cherished the time he spent with them. He will always be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Karen (nee Vargas) Boyt; son, Timothy (Mary) Jackson; daughter, Danielle (Kevin) Cauley; grandchildren, Jacqueline Cauley, Damien Jackson, Jade Cauley, Jordan Cauley and Kara Jackson; and one great granddaughter, Emerlee Cauley.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Betty Boyt.
