Raymond Donald Coffman, Jr., age 47, a resident of Lake Station, passed away on Saturday, May 26, 2012. He was born on May 1, 1965 in Melrose Park, Illinois, the son of Raymond and Bernardine Coffman, Sr. Ray was married to Tammie Hicks on March 13, 1987 in Wheaton, Illinois. Ray worked as a trackman and machine operator for the Metra Railroad. He was a member of the Union. Ray loved watching NASCAR, going fishing, and his dogs Cinder, Nicki, Valentine, and M.J. His greatest joy was his family and his beautiful grandson.

Ray is survived by his loving wife Tammie Coffman, Lake Station, his sons Jeffrey Coffman, Kentucky, Matthew Coffman, Lake Station, and Kenneth Coffman, Lake Station, his daughter Katrina Coffman, Glasgow, Kentucky, his grandson Adam Coffman, Glasgow, Kentucky, 2 grandchildren, Jacob and Kaitland Coffman both of Illinois, his brothers Barny Coffman, Jimmy (Tammy) Coffman, and Steven Coffman, all of Hanover Park, Illinois, niece, Cody Coffman and other loving family and dear friends.
