Raymond Paul Hughes

Raymond Paul Hughes, age 63 of Hobart passed away Friday, August 18, 2023. He was born on September 4, 1959, in Gary, Indiana to Raymond and Anna Hughes. Paul had a kind and generous heart. He was a loving and giving soul who could also be stubborn at times. Despite sometimes being stubborn, he would drop everything for anyone who needed help. He will always be remembered for his selfless nature.

He is survived by his sisters, Pam (Mark) Goess, Patricia (Stanley) Jarosz, Kimberly Hughes; brothers, Mark A. Andrews, and Coy Andrew (Sal) Meza; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Anna Hughes, his son, Raymond P. Hughes, Jr., and one sister, Penny Hughes.

A funeral service for Paul will take place Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at 12:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart.
