Rebecca Currie, age 62, of Hobart, Indiana passed away Monday December 9, 2019 at the Miller's Merry Manor Nursing Center in Hobart.  She was born August 23, 1957 in Gary, Indiana to the late Robert and Beverly (Geiselman) Taylor in Gary, Indiana.  Rebecca worked in several local restaurants as a waitress prior to her disability.  She enjoyed playing BINGO and working on art projects.  She loved time spent with her family.  Becky was a graduate of Hobart High School.

She is survived by her two sons, Matthew Taylor and Joshua Taylor; grandchildren, Hannah Taylor, Neveah Ignas, Matthew Taylor, Jr. and Landen Costello; two brothers, Fred (Linda) Yager and Greg Taylor; one sister, Denise Powell; four aunts and uncles, Roberta (William) Simpson, Vickee (Mark) Ducote, Diane (Scott) Baumgarder and Jim Geiselman; and many cousins and nieces and nephews.

Rebecca was preceded in death by her father, Robert Taylor; mother and stepfather, Beverly (Richard) Yager; one brother, Randy Yager; two uncles,"Pudge" Geiselman and Harry Geiselman.
