Rene A. Maza

Rene A (nee Huddleston) Maza, age 63, of Lake Station passed away Monday, October 5, 2020 in St. Mary Medical Center.  Rene was born July 9, 1957 in Gary, Indiana to the late Don and Helen (nee Muraco) Huddleston. She enjoyed spending time with her family, and friends. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

Rene is survived by her loving husband, Robert Maza; daughter, Babette(Tom) Lawson; granddaughter, Grace Lawson; two brothers Don J. (Loretta) Huddleston and Erik Huddleston and many other loving family members and friends.

Rene was preceded in death by her infant son, Jared Robert Maza and her parents

A Funeral Service for Rene will take place Friday, October 9, 2020 at 10:00 am at Rees Funeral Home, Brady Chapel, 3781 Central Avenue, Lake Station, with Rev. David Kime officiating. Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery in Portage.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2020 from 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
