Renee L. Tamietto

Renee L. Tamietto, age 59, of Portage passed away Wednesday January 11, 2023, in her home with her family by her side. Renee was born July 23, 1963, in Gary, Indiana to the late William and Lois Sue (Ring) Waters. She worked as an associate with Johnson Farm Produce prior to her illness. She loved spending time with her family, gardening, and spending time in the sunshine.

She is survived by her loving husband, David Tamietto; five children, Miranda (Curt) Shaffer of Florida, Ashley Way of Valparaiso, Amy (Nathaniel) Wise of California, David W. (Marissa) Tamietto of Valparaiso, and Michael Tamietto of Portage; seven grandchildren, Hannah Way, Hayden Way, Emmett Tamietto, Hazel Shaffer, Owen Tamietto, Adeline Shaffer, and Arden Tamietto; two sisters, Rhonda Blazak of Gary and Robin Morris of Wheeler; and several nieces and nephews.

Renee was preceded in death by her parents, William and Sue; and one sister, Rochelle Wallace.

A Celebration of Renee's Life will be held Saturday January 21, 2023, from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm at the Life Community Church 780 McCool Road Valparaiso, IN 46385. Formal sharing will be held from noon to 12:30 pm. Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel was entrusted with her services.
