Richard Darnold

Richard Darnold, age 62 of Gary passed away Sunday November 28, 2021, in his home. Richard was born September 26, 1962 in Hammond, Indiana to the late Arthur and Ann (Bowles) Darnold. Richard was raised by his foster parents Victor and Sandra LeRose. Richard worked for ACI Asphalt Company in East Chicago. He will be deeply missed by his friends and family.

Richard is survived by his brother Steve (Kimberly) Darnold of Topeka; his foster mother, Sandra LeRose of Portage; his foster brothers and sisters, Vickie, Donna, Linda, Barbara, Danny, and Joe.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Marilyn Darnold; his brother, Eugene Darnold; his foster father, Victor LeRose; his foster brother, Tony.

Visitation will be Saturday December 4, 2021, from 4-8 pm at Rees Funeral Home 600 W. Old Ridge Road Hobart, IN 46342.

Cremation will follow.
