Richard "Dick" Eugene Heridia

Richard Eugene "Dick" Heridia, age 79 of Hobart passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2023.  He was born on September 19, 1943 to the late Manuel and Ellen Heridia.  He was a hard worker working as a Truck Driver for Teamsters Local 142.  Richard enjoyed fishing and loved his family.  He was a member of St Francis Xavier Church.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Judith Heridia of Hobart, IN; four daughters, Wendy (Michael) Mackey of Durango, CO; Evonne (Edwin) Hernandez of Hobart, IN; Devra (Michael) Day of Houston, TX; Tina (Terry) Evans of Valparaiso, IN; grandchildren, Donald and Jamie Mackey, Edwin S. (Nicole) Hernandez, Amber (Anthony) Suida, Alexandria (Sam) Meza, and Terry Evans III, great-grandchildren, Avionah, Liviah, Jaxon, Elijah, Julianna, Malakai, and Lucia, fur children, Goose, Lilly, Maverick, Iceman, Peaches, Louie, Chopper, CC, Charlie and Sparky

Visitation is Friday, August 18, 2023 at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Road, Hobart from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a funeral service at 6 p.m. with Chaplain Rich Stoll officiating.  After the service the visitation will then continue to 8 p.m. Cremation will follow the services.
