Richard Golding

Richard Rae Golding, age 58, of Portage, passed away Friday, March 9, 2018. He was born on June 14, 1959 in Blue Island, Illinois to the late Howard and Violette Golding. He was employed as an auto mechanic and had a great passion for cars and motorcycles. He enjoyed doing yardwork, going camping with friends and family and he was an animal lover.

He is survived by the love of his life, Barbara Biesboer of Portage, IN; stepson, Daniel Biesboer of Portage, IN; sister, Jean Ann (Mojahid Ali Wahbi) Golding of Saudi Arabia; nephews, Khaled Mojahid Wahbi and Mitchell Coates.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Violette Golding; and one brother, Howard Earl Golding III. Memorial contributions in Richard's name may be made to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 13067 Alexandria, VA 22312.

Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2018 from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave., Portage.
