Richard Lee Longmore, age 67, of Portage passed away Monday November 25, 2013 in his home. Richard was born July 20, 1946 in Gary, Indiana to Cecil and Polly (Knapp) Longmore. Richard was a Firefighter retiring with the rank of Captain from the Portage Fire Department. He was an US Army veteran and member of American Legion Post #260 in Portage.
Richard is survived by his loving wife Linda, his son Rob (Tania) Baron of Chicago, his daughter Cristal (Greg) Slaman of Louisiana, three grandchildren Amber, Lindsey and Curtiss, two brothers and several nieces and nephews.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
