Richard A Nowicki, age 67 of Hebron, formerly of Hobart, passed away Thursday, December 26 ^th , 2019.

He was born on June 18 ^th , 1952 to the late Richard and Rose Nowicki, and was raised in Hammond, Indiana.  Richard was impressively handy and enjoyed renovating his home and property.    He was a self-taught electrician, and an avid antique collector.

After numerous awards and commendations for outstanding and faithful service, Richard retired from the U.S. Navy where he excelled in aviation and electronics.  Richard retired from the U.S. Navy after 24 years of service.  He was also formerly employed at Union Tank and Blaw Knox Foundry, as a foreman.

Richard is survived by four daughters, Ranuille Nowicki of Kansas City, KA; Krystal (Samuel) Friedman of Land O Lakes, FL; Shay DeMoss of Valparaiso, IN; Brandy DeMoss of Kansas City, KA; One brother, Robert Nowicki of Hobart, IN; One sister, Roxanne (Irvin) Zentz of Gary, IN; and grandchildren Lily, Adalyn, Jaxson, and Taytum Friedman, and Kalysta Harvey.

All services were private.  Burial took place at Holy Cross Cemetery in Calumet City, Illinois. Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel completed Arrangements.
