Rick Agent

Rickey A. Agent, age 59, of Hobart, passed away Monday, February 20, 2017. He was born on January 31, 1958 in Gary, Indiana. Rickey was currently employed as a Crane Operator for the Operating Engineers Local # 150. He always put other people before himself. His greatest joy in life was his family and he will always be remembered as the best husband, father and grandfather a family could ever ask for.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Sue (nee Kurzydlo) Agent; sons, Dustin Agent, Brandon Agent; daughters, Nichole (fiancé, Matt Buchanan) Kurzydlo, Ashley (Joseph) Schmidt, Jessica (fiancé, Jason Rayborn) Agent, Hayley (Jacob Janiszewski) Agent; grandchildren, Brooklynn Agent, Sabrina Agent, Alyssa Kurzydlo, Connor Schmidt, Angelica Kurzydlo, Madison Janiszewski, Jacob Schmidt, Olivia Kurzydlo; best friend and brother, Rick Sherer.

He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Abigail Agent.

A funeral service for Rickey will take place Friday, February 24, 2017 at 7:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart with Pastor Bob Burton officiating.
