Ricky James Fugate, age 42 of Hobart passed away on July 29, 2013 at the University of Chicago. He was born on April 17, 1971 to Ish and Betty (nee Neace) Fugate in Chicago, Illinois. Ricky was a member of Barrington Ridge Baptist Church in Hobart. He was a Chicago Bears and Notre Dame fan. Ricky worked as a Real Estate Agent for Fugate's Real Estate.
Ricky is survived by his parents; Ish and Betty Fugate of Hobart; 2 brothers, Travis (Cheryl) Fugate of Schererville and Kenny (Jen) Fugate of Hobart; 1 sister, Tonya (Patrick) Fogarty of Chesterton and nieces and nephews, Devin Moser, Rocco and Ava Fugate, Savannah Fogarty, Jessica, Jenelle, and Lauren DeVries.
A funeral service for Ricky will be on Thursday, August 1, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. at Barrington Ridge Baptist Church, 97 Bracken Parkway, Hobart, Indiana with Pastor Mitch Whidden officiating. A visitation will be on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Rd., Hobart Indiana.
