Age 33, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2015 at Porter Regional Hospital. He was born on September 11, 1981 in Valparaiso, Indiana to Terry and Kimberly C.(nee Perry) Martin. Ricky was a loving son, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend.
Ricky is survived by his loving family, parents, Terry and Kimberly Martin of Valparaiso, paternal grandparents Ronald and Patricia Everson of Knox, grandfather, Dannie Gilbert of Valparaiso, Aunts and Uncles; Bobbie (Robert) Emerick of Chesterton, Cathy (Jerry) Cox of Arkansas, Pamela Morris of Missouri, Danny D. Gilbert of Knox ,Anita (Dennis) Durk of Hobart and Glossie (Harlan) Elkins of Valparaiso, many other loving family members and friends.
Ricky was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Gene and Hopie Martin.
A funeral service for Ricky will be held on Saturday,March 7, 2015 at 11:00 am at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave., Portage, Indiana, 46368, with Rev Jerry Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Portage. Visitation will also be held on Saturday from 10:00 am until time of service also at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, Portage, Indiana 46368.
