Rita A. Marjanian-Stevenson

Rita A. Marjanian-Stevenson, age 66, of Portage passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at VNA Hospice in Valparaiso. She was born June 28, 1954, in Gary, Indiana to George and Patricia Marjanian. Rita was a Clerk with the Porter County Clerk's Office and was a member of the Porter County Counsel for eight yrs. Rita loved her family and enjoyed playing with her grandchildren and garage sales. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend.

Rita is survived by her loving husband of 25 yrs., Paul Stevenson Sr. of Portage; two sons, Shawn (Luke) Marjanian and Paul (Wendy Garcia) Stevenson Jr.; three daughters, Spring (Rigo) Alvarez, Samantha (Jeff) Brown and Kellie Clouser; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild many other loving family members and dear friends.

Rita was preceded in death by her parents, George and Patricia Marjanian and brother, Michael Marjanian.

Visitation will be at held at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at Rees funeral Home, Olson Chapel 5341 Central Avenue Portage, Indiana 46368. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. also at the funeral home.  Burial and graveside services will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Portage, Indiana.
