Robert W. Childers

Robert "Bob" W. Childers, age 80, of Hobart, passed away Thursday, October 25, 2018 at St. Mary Medical Center in Hobart.  He was born in Logansport, Indiana on April 24, 1938.  He was a proud member of the United States Army.  Bob worked for Bethlehem Steel for 32 years. He was also a member of The Eagles in Hobart for 34 years. He loved, and excelled at, Darts, pool, and bowling.

Bob is survived by his sons, Robby (Lori) Robb, Randy (Kathy) Robb, Robin Childers, Michael Childers; girlfriend, Rosie Risley; many siblings; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Childers; sons, Daniel Childers, Rusty Robb; and his parents.

A funeral service for Bob will take place Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at 11:00 am with Pastor Bob Burton officiating at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Rd.
