Robert Allan Cole

Robert Allan Cole, age 61, of Lake Station, passed away Thursday, January 1, 2015. He was born on November 18, 1953 in Gary, Indiana to the late Eugene and Martha Cole. Robert retired from U.S. Steel after 38 years. He proudly dedicated his spare time volunteering as a sponsor for Alcoholics Anonymous.

He is survived by his sons, Christopher (Michelle Broughton) Cole, Bryan (Anastasia) Cole; grandchildren, Bryan Cole II, Chaz Cole, Alyssa Cole, Jaden Cole, Jasmine Kennedy, Austin Tallent; brothers, Eugene (Etta) Cole, David Cole and Thomas (Karen) Cole.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Martha Cole; brother, Edward Cole.

A visitation for Robert will take place Monday, January 5, 2015 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Brady Chapel, 3781 Central Avenue, Lake Station. Cremation will follow visitation.
