Robert Croy, age 84, of Hobart, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2015 at his home. Robert was born on May 10, 1930 to the late Harley N. and Katherine (nee Grott) Croy in Crawfordville, Indiana. He worked as an Instrument Repairman at LTV Steel and a retired woodcrafter. He will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather and great-great grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his wife Dolores Croy (nee Vonderahe) and his parents.
Robert is survived by his ten children, Marian (Steven) Smith of Fort Wayne, Mark Croy of Chesterton, Kathryn (Steve) Such of Chesterton, Paula (Robert) Yanez of Lake Station, Daniel Croy of Fort Wayne, Joseph (Angel) Croy of Chesterton, Richard (Inga) Croy of Lake Station, Jeffery (Sherri) Disser of Hobart, Charlene (Billy) Poe of Fort Worth, Texas and Jenny (Bryan) Malick of Gilroy, California, numerous grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
