Robert A. "Bob" Estrada, age 55, of Gary passed away Friday, February 26, 2016 at home. He was born on January 18, 1961 in Gary, Indiana to Joseph and Lupe Estrada. Bob was a 1980 graduate of Wirt High School. He enjoyed working on cars and cooking for family and friends. He will always be remembered as a loving son, brother, uncle and friend to those who knew him.

He is survived by his beloved mother, Lupe Estrada; brother, Joseph (Tina) Estrada; sister, Carla Estrada; nephew, Jacob Estrada; numerous loving family members and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph Estrada. Memorial contributions in Bob's name may be made to St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at Rees Funeral Home, Brady Chapel, 3781 Central Avenue, Lake Station from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm with a prayer service at 3:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:00 am on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church, 6060 Miller Avenue, Gary, Indiana with visitation there from 9:00 am until the time of mass.
