Robert "Bob" Fattore, age 78, of Hobart, passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2021.  He was born in Gary, Indiana on August 23, 1943 to the late Louis and Jacqueline (nee Jackson) Fattore.  Bob was a Local 395 Ironworker and worked at The University of Chicago as a Registered Nurse for 15 years.  He coached Little League, was a past President of Pop Warner Football, and past Secretary of the Northern Indiana Timing Association at the US 30 Drag Strip.  Bob was an avid numismatist and coin shop owner at Marquette Mall.  After retirement, he was a financial day trader.

Bob was a family man of faith who loved Jesus.  He is survived by the love of his life and wife of 57 years, Celestine "Sally" (nee Toth) Fattore; beloved children, Kent (Christine) Fattore, Kathy (Stuart) Allen, Brian (Nikki) Fattore, Becky (Shawn) Stephens, Kristy (Ben Strupeck) Fattore; and grandchildren, Dr. Justin (Kaitlyn) Allen, Nathan, Logan, and Collin Allen, Luke and Zack Fattore, Audrey, Porter, Weston, and Drake Stephens, Nolan and Juniper Strupeck.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Connie Burney; and his parents.

Bob enjoyed camping, fishing, dancing, and enthusiastically attending his grandchildren's sporting events.  He followed the Chicago Blackhawks, was a fan of boxing, loved to talk politics, was a team Mopar fan, a talented whistler, and never turned down a roller coaster.  Bob will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and the family poker champion.
