Robert G. Shepard "Bob", age 60, of Valparaiso passed away suddenly on Saturday April 3, 2021 in LaPorte.  Bob was born July 22, 1960 in Gary, Indiana to Robert and Carol (Hammond) Shepard.  He was a millwright for Jupiter Aluminum Corp. in Hammond.  Bob loved playing guitar, riding his motorcycle, working in his garage, and sipping a Rum and Coke.

Bob is survived by his loving wife, Tammy; his three children, Justin (Courtney) Shepard of Wheeler, Aaron Shepard of Portage, and Mackenzie Shepard of Valparaiso; his two granddaughters, Savannah and Hailey; his mother, Carol Shepard of Portage; his sister, Sheri (Carl) Brown of Portage; his brother, Bill (Jen) Shepard of Portage; many other loving relatives; and his TOMC Brothers.

Bob was preceded in death by his father, Robert Shepard and his sister, Kathi Hyde.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 pm Thursday April 8, 2021 with Pastor Don Good officiating at Rees Funeral Home 600 West old Ridge Road Hobart, Indiana 46342.  Visitation will be Thursday from 10:00 am until service time at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery in Valparaiso.
