Robert "Bob" Gadberry, age 69 of Hobart passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday July 3, 2012 at Home. Bob was born July 5, 1942 in Colombia, KY to the late James and Virgie Gadberry. Robert was a former Mason and the owner of Gadberry's Crane Service. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grand-father, great-grandfather, and friend.
Robert is survived by his loving family; wife, Cheryl Gadberry of Hobart, 2 sons; Brian Gadberry of Hobart and Robert E. (Jessica) Gadberry of Hobart, 4 daughters; Suzanne (James) England of Hickory Hills, Ill, Jamie (Zak) Swelfer of Irvington, KY, Amie (Jon Stolarz) Gadberry of Hobart, and Carrie (Chris DeMarco) Gadberry of Chesterton, 14 grandchildren; Jennifer (Dave) Tyler, Kathleen England, Alison, Nicholaus, Elizabeth and Patrick Gadberry, Autumn, Kaylee, Gage, Hayden and Brooke DeMarco, Katelyn and Angelina Swelfer, Olivia Stolarz , great-granddaughter; Alma Gadberry, sister-in-law Sue Gadberry, brother-in-law J.I. Washington, special friends; Mike, Christina and Isacc Rocha, other loving family members and dear friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers; Gobel, JB and Danny Gadberry, 3 sisters; Nancy Gadberry, Barbara Jean Washington, and Annabelle Gadberry.
Funeral Service will be held Saturday, July 7, 2012 at 11:00 am with Pastor Lynn Martin officiating at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart. Visitation will be held Friday, July 6, 2012 from 2-8 p.m. also at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart.
