Robert Andrew Likavec, age 32, a resident of Valparaiso, passed away on Monday, January 30, 2012. He was born on April 19, 1979 in Michigan City, the son of Raymond and Linda Likavec. Rob was currently a student at Ivy Tech in Valparaiso and had previously worked at Dunkin Donuts. Rob enjoyed sports, music, and being with friends. He was a good worker and everyone loved Robert.
Rob is survived by his loving family; mother Linda Likavec, Portage, sister Brenda Likavec, Indianapolis, grandmother Pauline McPheron, numerous aunts and uncles, and other loving family and dear friends. Rob was preceded in death by his father Raymond Likavec, grandfather Leonard McPheron, and grandparents Henry and Margaret Likavec.
A visitation for Robert Likavec will be held from 9:30 am to 10:00 am on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at Rees Funeral Home – Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Avenue, Portage with a funeral service at 10:00 am. Burial will be at Blake Cemetery in Portage. Memorials in Rob's memory may be given to the Likavec Family.
