Robert "Lubo" Lee Lubovich, age 36, of Valparaiso, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2019.  He was born in Mainz, Germany on August 26, 1982 to the late Daniel and Marion (nee Blatt) Lubovich.  He graduated from Hobart High School in 2002 where he was a skilled soccer player. Rob proudly served his country in The United States Marine Corps. He worked as a Boilermaker, Local 374.  He  loved his job and spending time with his children.  Rob had a heart of gold and was the foundation for his group of friends.  He will be remembered for his sarcasm, contagious laugh and will be missed by many.

Rob is survived by his wife, Amy (nee Kroll) Lubovich; sons, Blake, Christian, Dustin; and siblings, Daniela (Eric) Hiess, Shane (Crystal) Lubovich, Kevin Lubovich, Ashley Lubovich.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family for his children.

A funeral service, with military honors, for Rob will be held Tuesday, March 12 , 2019 at 7:00 pm with Mr. Eric Sluder officiating at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Rd.
