Robert L. Lundy
age 80, of Lake Station, passed away Sunday October 3,2010. He was a retired Operating Engineer (55 YRS.) for Local #150, he also was a member of; Masonic Lodge #741, of Portage, Chapter and Council Masons, Charter member, Dunes Lodge, and former member of Moose Lodge #1900. He was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather, uncle and friend and will be sorely missed by all. He is survived by his loving family, 2 sons; Robert L. Lundy, Bradenton, FL., Christopher K. (Tori) Lundy of Washington Township, daughter; Sally D. Lundy-Cox, daughter-in-law, Deborah Lundy of Portage, Lake Station, IN. 8 grandchildren; Ramona (Martin) Velazquez, Robert, Carrie, Tim (Katie), Jennifer(Roe) Guerrero, Jack, Cody and Craig, 8 great-grandchildren; Austin, Alaina, Alex, Hayden, Drake, Hailey, Roman and Piper, also many nieces, nephews and other loving family. He is preceded in death by his wife Suzanne M. Lundy, son; Timothy D. Lundy, parents Archie and Amy Lundy and 2 brothers; Archie and William Lundy.Funeral service for Robert will be held Friday, October 8, 2010 at 6:00 P.M. at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave., Portage, with Pastor Bob Burton officiating. Cremation will follow. Visitation will be at 1:00 P.M. till time of service. In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to Masonic Home, 690 S. State St., Franklin, IN.
