ROBERT E. MILLS, SR.
Age 74, of Portage, formerly of Hobart, passed away Saturday, August 26, 2023.  He was born on January 18, 1949, to the late Edman and Laurene (nee Owens) Mills.  Robert was a Bethlehem Steel retiree, where he worked for more than 40 years as an electrical engineer.  Robert loved spending time with his family, he enjoyed learning new things, working on cars, and cooking.  He will remembered as a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend.
He is survived by his son, Robert E. Mills Jr.; daughter, Julie Mills; granddaughter, Sarah Collins; three brothers, Edward (Lois) Mills, Roger (Sandy) Mills and Jimmy Mills; lifelong friend, Judy Mills-James and many nieces, nephews, and other loving family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Laurie Mills.
