Robert Nathan Morrill, age 82, of Hobart passed away Friday August 8, 2014 at the Millers Merry Manor in Hobart. Robert was born May 15, 1932 in Marion, Kentucky to the late Richard and Willie Melba (Cannon) Morrill. Robert was retired from the Budd Plant with 32 years of service and was a former Union Steward there. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion and the VFW Men's Auxiliary. Robert loved golfing and bowling.

Robert is survived by his loving fiancée Charlotte McRoberts of Hobart; six daughters LaDonna Morrill of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, LaFonda Birden of Carmel, LaCinda (David) Glow of Indianapolis, LaVanda (Peter Sampson) Morrill of Chicago, IL, LaShanna (Eric) Morrill and Melissa (Joel) Bowyer of Union, OH; five grandchildren Tiffanni, Starlena, Miles, Tripp and Joel, JR.; six great grandchildren Cierra, Kaden, Autumn, Samantha, Sylis and Sean; one sister Sue (Bucky) Lloyd of St. Louis, MO; and several nieces and nephews.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers William and Buster; and two sisters Jean and Sandra.

Visitation will be Tuesday August 12, 2014 from 2-8 pm with a 6 pm combined Sons of the American Legion and VFW Men's Auxiliary Memorial Service at Rees Funeral Home 600 W. Old Ridge Road Hobart, Indiana.
