Robert Neill

Robert "Bob" Neill, age 74 of Portage passed away April 4, 2025, at Northwest Health Porter Hospital. He was born on April 8, 1950, in Gary, Indiana to the late Gordon and Imogene Neill. A 1968 graduate of Portage High School, Bob went on to work for US Steel. He retired after 35 plus years of working as an Electrician in the Sheet and Tin mill. He had a special love for family and music. He enjoyed playing his keyboard.

He is survived by his loving companion, Jeanne Kenealy; sister, Barbara (Michael) Cooper; nephews, Jonathan (Michelle) Cooper, David (Sona) Cooper, Joshua (Lori) Cooper; 8 great nieces and nephews, Henry, Wyatt, Myles, Tessa, Arielle, Lucia, Abigail, and Caroline.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gordon and Imogene Neill.

Per Bob's wishes, there will be no formal service.The family will be planning a Celebration of Life Service at a later time.
