Robert Michael Nevarez Sr., age 52, of Hobart, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2016. He was born on September 17, 1963 in Pico-Rivera, California to Olga (nee Melendez) Nevarez and Ralph Nevarez. Robert was a self-employed trucker. In his free time, Robert enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 21 years, Suzanne Jade Hale of Washington; three sons, Robert Jr., Brandon and Luke Nevarez all of Washington; two grandsons, Robert III and Tomas Nevarez both of Washington; three brothers, Ralph Jr., Richard Nevarez both of California and Mark Garcia also of California; two sisters, Shirley and Sharron Nevarez of California; numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Russell Garcia.
A funeral service for Robert will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 7:00 p.m., 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart, Indiana 46342. Cremation will follow.
