Robert Lewis Sufana, age 92 a Portage resident since 1956 passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at his home. He was born on August 17, 1922 to the late John and Mary Sufana. He served his country in the U.S. Army. Bob retired from Inland Steel. He served as past adjunct at American Legion Post 260 in Portage. He was a past member of the Portage Rotary Club, the Loyal Order of the Moose in Illinois, and the Interclub Council.

He is survived by two sons, Gene (Sharon) Sufana of Chesterton, IN; Bob (Sharon) Sufana of TN; and many grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mirriam, his second wife, Charlotte, one daughter, Nancy, six brothers, John, Nicholas, George, Dan, and Ray Sufana, Gene Allen, two sisters, Sylvia Larson, Mary Sufana.
