Robert K. Swims, age 60, of Hobart passed away Thursday, May 6 , 2021 at St Mary Medical Center.  He was born December 22, 1960 in Gary, Indiana.  Robert was a self-employed handy man. He will be remembered as a loving husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend.

Robert is survived by his wife, Kimberly; three stepchildren, Christina, Nicholas, and Jeremie; mother, Peggy Swims; three siblings, Michael, Jack, and Kay Swims; two nephews, Kyle and Adam; two nieces, Marcy and Jessica and other loving family members and friends.

Robert was preceded in death by his father, Melvin W. Swims.
