Robert "Bob" Szparaga

Robert "Bob" Szparaga, age 73, of Hobart, Indiana, loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and brother passed away on Thursday May 13, 2021. He was born on April 13, 1948 in Gary, Indiana to Sigusmund and Shirley Szparaga. On July 2, 1966 Bob married the love of his life Charlene. They have two loving children, Tim (Fiancé Ellen Purdy) Szparaga and Tony (Tammy) Szparaga; ten grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one brother, Dave (Mary) Szparaga; nephew, David (Eva) Szparaga; and niece, Tiffany (JR) Studer.

He was preceded in death by his parents Sigusmund and Shirley Szparaga.

Bob was a proud Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, were he served in the 101 ^st Airborne Division, Screaming Eagles.  Bob enjoyed the great outdoors, hunting and fishing. Above all he loved spending time with his family and going out for dinner. He will be missed deeply by all that knew him.
