Robert L. Taylor
Valparaiso, Indiana
age 88, passed away Monday, April 09, 2012 in Ohio. Robert is a retired carpenter and proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a former American Legion Post 502 member in South Haven.
He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend.
Robert is survived by his sons Timothy (Rebecca) Taylor of Columbia, South Carolina, Robert D. (Sher-Lynn) Taylor of Bloomington, Indiana, Daughters; Trina Hiemstra of Valparaiso, Wendy (Richard) Sulich of Valparaiso, 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, and sisters; Effie Taylor of California and Lois Miller of Washington State. He is preceded in death by his wife Marguerite A. (nee Crouse) Taylor, daughter- Lawana Taylor, brother; Roy Taylor, 2 sisters; Marie Taylor and Millie Dean and great-granddaughter Ashley.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday April 21, 2012 at 10:00-11:00 am at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Avenue, Portage, Indiana. Followed by a short memorial service and burial at Evergreen Memorial Park.
