Robert Carl Wiltse

Robert C. Wiltse, age 52, of Hobart passed away Sunday March 28, 2021 at the Community Hospital in Munster.  Robert was born November 20, 1968 in Chicago, IL to Edward and Mary Wiltse.  Bob was a mason that worked out of the International bricklayers and allied crafts local union #4 for 24 years. Prior to working through the union he worked 12 years for Narco. He loved music and playing guitar. He collected guitars and other musical instruments, coins, and eagles.

Bob is survived by his four children, Carissa (Brandon) Williams of LaPorte, Devin (Danial) Wiltse of LaPorte, Trevor Wiltse of South Carolina, and Derek Wiltse of South Carolina; his mother, Mary (Gary) Ross of Traverse City, MI; his father , Edward Wiltse of Portage; his six grandchildren, Melody Gantt, Samara Williams, Braxton Williams, Audrey Wiltse, Leona Williams, and Eliza Wiltse; three stepchildren, Charlene Keen, Jacqueline Richman, and Valarie Webb; his brother, Edward (Anita) Wiltse, Jr. of Traverse City, MI; many more extended family and friends.

Visitation will be from 2-5 pm Wednesday March 31, 2021 at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel 5341 Central Avenue Portage, IN 46368.

Due to on going COVID-19 restrictions no more than 50 people may be in attendance at any one time.  All attendees must wear a face covering and practice social distancing.
