Roberta L. Thomasino

ROBERTA L. THOMASINO, age 86, of Valparaiso, passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2022.  She was born on November 14, 1936 to the late Fred and Helen Crawford.  Roberta was a devoted member of First Baptist of Hobart for many years.  She had a talent for writing poetry, which is cherished by family and friends.  Roberta will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

She is survived by her 4 daughters, Teri (Rev. Larry) Pender of KY, Robin (Jack) Furgye of Walkerton, Gayle (Nick) Giorgi and Tina (Joseph) Dravet of Hobart; 13 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; brother, Fred (Ruth) Crawford; 2 sisters, Linda Achor and Sue Boldin; sister-in-law, Linda Crawford; other loving family and friends.

Roberta was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Guy; granddaughter, Andrea Pender; brother, Harold; sister, Jane Soderquist; grandson-in-law, Ronald Carpenter.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to VNA Hospice.
