RODNEY ALLEN JONES, age 53, of Gas, KS, and formerly of Wheeler, IN, passed away unexpectedly Friday, July 13, 2018.  He was born in Omaha, NE on June 27, 1965.  Rodney was employed as a truck driver for Carthage Marine Transport, Inc.  He was a member of OOIDA, ABATE of Kansas, and New Life Church of God in Wheeler.  Rodney was quite a character and enjoyed pulling practical jokes, and being "grill master" at cookouts.  Above all, he loved his family and cherished the time he spent with his kids and grandkids.

Rodney is survived by his wife, Paula Jones (nee Lewis), Gas, KS; 10 children, Victoria (Collin) Hildebrand, Grand Junction, CO, Danielle (Raymond) Hall, Wheeler, IN, Reba (Justin) Manning, Odessa, TX, Leanna (Caleb) Greer, Odessa, TX, Erica Montoya, San Antonio, TX, James Schaffer, Valparaiso, IN, Erik Schaffer, Menifee, CA, Jessie, Elizabeth, and Daniel Jones, Wheeler, IN; mother, Fairy Hope Jones (nee Clarke), Seward, NE; 10 grandchildren, Abigail Hildebrand, Raymond and Thomas Hall, Matthew and Brinley Hulsey, Angela, Natalie and Calea Greer, Mikey and Monte Montoya, and Charlee Schaffer; 7 brothers and sisters, Jack (Teresa) Clarke, Lincoln, NE, Joe (Karen) Ragan, Valparaiso, IN, Richard "Ricky" (Rita) Jones, Seward, NE, Bobby (Barbie) Jones, Wallace, IN, Maria (Bob) Lee, Marshall, IN, Ralph Duane (Katie) Jones, Valparaiso, Clara Grubish, Kingman, IN; many nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Jones; step-mother, Lena Marie Jones (nee Comer); grandchildren, Taylor Greer and Mary Ann and Rodney Hall.
