Roger Duane Davidson

ROGER DUANE DAVIDSON, age 70, of Knox, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 12, 2024, as the result of an auto accident.  He was born on March 9, 1953 to the late Clara and Harold Davidson. After Roger graduated from high school he joined the US Marines and was stationed at Camp Pendleton in Oceanside, CA for training. He also completed some college at the Mira Costa College in Oceanside. Roger spent many years as a Certified Automotive Technician, he most recently worked for Knoll Brothers in Hamlet. He was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Knox.  He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Susan Davidson (nee Diaz); 2 children, Adam Davidson of Knox and Matthew Davidson of Indianapolis; 4 grandchildren, Aidan, Torian, Brooklyn, and John; 2 brothers, Kenneth (Cheryl) Davidson of Peoria, IL; Harold Davidson, Ft. Wayne; mother-in-law, Shirely Karageorge of Portage; brother-in-law, Jeffery Diaz of Portage.

Roger was preceded in death by his brothers, William and Doug Davidson, and grandson, Gabriel.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Roger's family.

A visitation for Roger will be Thursday, January 18,2024, from 2 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave., Portage. Services will conclude at the funeral home and cremation will take place at a later time.
