Ronald Jay Apathy

Ronald Jay Apathy, age 72, of Hebron passed away Monday January 16, 2023 at his home. Ron was a retired mechanic. He was born September 11, 1950. Ron enjoyed Hunting and Fishing.  He was at peace with the outdoors. He proudly served in the US Army from June of 1970 through January of 1972. Much of that time was served in Vietnam.

Ron is survived by several children including, Joshua Ehrhart, Amy (Joe Rodriguez) Ehrhart, and Ann Marie (Curtis) Plesha all of Portage, and Meggan (Jeff Huffman) Evans; three grandchildren, Brian Noonan, Emilia Suffern, and Aiden Suffern; two sisters, Sharon and Margie.

Visitation will be Tuesday January 24, 2023 from 11:00 am until noon at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel 5341 Central Avenue Portage, IN 46368.  Burial with Military Honors will take place at 2:00 pm in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, Illinois.
