RONALD "RONNIE D" DUERING, age 55, of Lake Station, passed away Monday, August 12, 2013, due to a massive heart attack. He was born May 17, 1958 in Chicago. Ronnie was employed at Homewood Disposal for 23 years and was currently working for Gemini Transportation. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Bristol, Indiana, George Washington 325. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and rode his garbage truck every year in the "Homewood Disposal Parade."
He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Joann Duering. He is survived by his wife, Connie, Dozer and Dinky; son, Stephen Duering; grandchildren, Kyle, Brandon, Emily, Stephen; stepsons, Chad Wille, James Wille; brothers, Thomas, twin brother, Donnie (Waneta), Mark (Marlene), and John; sisters, Cheryl Duering, Laura (Cliff) Kuap, Janice (Ed) Lacey; 10 nieces; 7 nephews.
