RONALD G. DAVIS, age 73, of Hebron, passed away at home on Friday, March 25, 2016, while surrounded by his family. He was born on March 26, 1942 in Charleston, IL. Ron was a gifted mechanic and loved building hot rods and watching NASCAR. He will be deeply missed.

Ron is survived by his wife of 18 years, Sharon (nee Sons); son, Gene (Jeri) Davis of Hobart; stepson, Robert (Karen) Sons of Grovertown; stepdaughter, Diane Rogers of Hanna; grandchildren, Garet Davis, Blake and Shalynn Rogers, Jessica, Tony, Angela Tauberschmidt; 9 great grandchildren; 3 brothers, Bill (Jean) Davis of Chesterton, Gary Kaplon of Kansas, IL, and Bruce (Lynn) Kaplon of Hebron; nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Davis and mother, Wanda Hall.
