Ronald C. Johnson, age 77, of Lake Station, passed away on Saturday, April 24, 2021. Ron was born on September 19, 1943 in Gary, IN to the late Edwin and Clara Johnson.  He retired from US Steel with over 20 years of experience and began to rehab homes in his spare time.  He was the owner of the White Hen Pantry in both Portage and Lake Station. He is survived by his daughter: Teresa (Jim) Scheuer; sister: Gail (Marshall) Gilliana; granddaughters: Amanda (Ricky) Herrera and Ashley (Scott Palla) Scheuer; great-grandsons: Elijah and Brody Herrera; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members. Ron is also preceded in death by his brother: Jack Johnson.
